About Me

Hi! I’m Maggie, I’m a twenty-six year old artist based in Sheffield.

I primarily work with Gouache and often find inspiration in nature, particularly in light and shadows. I also really try to capture ‘enjoying the little moments’ within my paintings. What I mean by this is I aim to capture and paint those moments where time seems to stand still- like the steam rising up from a morning cup of coffee or dappled sunlight on forest floors. Think capturing ‘hygge’ but in a painting.

You can find me most days at an independent coffee shop in and around Sheffield or hiking (slowly) in the Peaks!

My most popular piece is ‘Morning Light At Bon’ which recently was displayed at the Fronteer Gallery in Sheffield.
